Humanity has been in Talam'aran since the dawn of it's existence. Though their lifespans are relatively short, it gives them haste that has allowed them to complete great tasks in just a few years - tasks that would take other races up to a hundred years to achieve. At the same time, they are very easily angered and corruptible in most cases.
There are three major branches of humanity in Talam'aran: Melingrand, Imperial, and those who are referred to as the "Baredor". Each of them have their own unique cultures and beliefs.
Melingrand. They were once a very proud people, the most noble of warriors, and the best schooled. The ruins around seven towns is all that remains after the great war with the dark lord, they were reduced into simple farmers and villagers after their lands were cursed for hundreds of years. Melingradians vary completely in looks, having been a diverse culture before their fall.
Imperial. Imperials make up the majority of Humans in Talam'aran, and control the largest area of any civilization. The Empire is known for it's noble intentions and quick defense of it's cities - though for its slow fall to the corrupt. It also carries the largest standing army, with many experienced soldiers. Imperialists tend to be tall and muscular, thanks to the rigorous training they endure as children.\
Baredor. These have been realized as the scum of humanity in general. They live predictably on the Baredor coast and are often stereotyped as pirates and thieves - though this is not true for all of the culture. It is true however that most do not trust them thanks to an earned reputation - they are very well known for their crime rates. Baredorians are known for being slim, wiry, and rather stealthy. Best not to cross one.
There is also the humans from Earth, though no explanation is needed for them, I think.
